About the company
The poor mobile connectivity inside trains and buildings is due to modern glazing. The windows contain a transparent metallic coating to improve their insulation and combined with the metallic structures, it leads to a Faraday cage effect: the inside signal is attenuated by 500 times (25 dB). Our laser technology developed at EPF Lausanne make the windows transparent to mobile phone frequencies by structuring the metallic coating with a high precision laser. A near invisible grid is scribed into the coating. The engraved lines are the thinnest on the market preserving all the original properties of the windows: aspect, strength and insulation.
