Marcel has been active in the field of cyber security for more than ten years and faces the challenges of modern cyber threats on a daily basis. With his practical and solution-oriented approach, he supports companies in developing tailor-made security strategies for their individual requirements. His expertise covers endpoint, email and OT security in particular. His technical foundation is a degree in IT security, which he successfully completed with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in computer science with a focus on IT security. Since the beginning of 2025, Marcel has been managing the Cyber Security division at pco and is responsible for a team of around 80 colleagues. He has also been hosting pco's IT IST ALLES. podcast together with his colleague Julius Höltje since mid-2020.
