Martin Merz is President of SAP Sovereign Cloud and a member of SAP’s Senior Executive Team.
Since October 2024, he has led the Sovereign Services & Delivery organization and oversees a global team focused on cloud delivery, strategy, and compliance. Together with his team, he drives secure and innovative technology solutions that support customers in the public sector and highly regulated industries in their digital transformation.
With over ten years of experience at SAP, he is known for his security expertise, strategic leadership, and operational execution. Previously, he led the Government Security division at SAP, among other roles. Before joining SAP, he held leadership positions in the German Armed Forces and with its allies.
