Stefan Ziller
Stefan Ziller has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives for Marzahn-Hellersdorf since 2016 and is deputy leader of the Green parliamentary group. As spokesperson for digitalization, administration, districts and budget policy, he has been supporting digitalization and digital policy issues in Berlin for years, as well as the implementation of Berlin's administrative reform.
He is campaigning for a switch to open source within the Berlin administration by 2035 and is fighting for a new digital and transparency law. For Stefan Ziller, administration is Berliners' first contact with democracy. A functioning administration must therefore be at the forefront of the reform. This includes modern, collaborative digital equipment for Berlin's administration and a sustainable digital transformation of public services.
Ziller was first elected to the Berlin House of Representatives in 2006 for the Green Party, with which he has been involved since 2001 - including in the areas of social policy, nature conservation and network policy. Between 2011 and 2015, he worked in the European Parliament in Brussels and as a computer scientist in Berlin. He has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives again since 2016.
