I am an IT security architect and subject matter lead for Confidential Computing as well as Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI). In addition, my responsibilities include technical team leadership and business development in the area of technical data protection (Privacy Enhancing Technologies, PETs). I am a member of the MMS Technology Board and hold an honorary professorship for Applied IT Security at TU Dresden.

In the masterclass, we will guide you through the interplay of GDPR and AI Act - what do they have in common and where are they completely different. We will also present our practical guidelines for conducting threat modeling for AI systems, data protection and fundamental rights impact assessments. Our presentation will include a tool-based risk assessment methodology that we have successfully implemented in an industrial environment.
